CEO BIO
Corey Smith is a Memphis-based entrepreneur, mentor, and former professional athlete dedicated to empowering youth through education, athletics, and community engagement. As the visionary founder of Yeahhsauce13, a nonprofit organization focused on teaching life and academic skills through basketball and sports, Corey has created a platform that inspires personal growth, discipline, and opportunity for underserved youth.
Corey is also the co-owner of Yeahhsauce Apparel, a lifestyle brand rooted in culture and creativity, and the owner of Show love Taxes, a financial service business aimed at educating and uplifting communities through responsible financial practices.
With a deep passion for sports and youth development, Corey co-founded the Memphis Shockerz AAU program in 2008, helping young athletes sharpen their skills on and off the court. His athletic journey includes playing collegiate basketball at LeMoyne-Owen College, where he was part of the 1998-1999 team that won the SIAC championship, and a stint in professional basketball with Aguas Caliente Panteras beginning in 2006.
Throughout his career, Corey has partnered with impactful organizations such as MIFA, the William Bedford Foundation, Hoop for Hoodies, and other to amplify community outreach and support initiatives that serve Memphis youth and families.
Driven by purpose and experience, Corey Smith continues to use his platform to mentor, educate, and build sustainable change in the lives of young people through Yeahhsauce13 and beyond.
